2017 Remembrance Day - $2 C Mintmark Uncirculated Coin in Card

Rosemary has been a symbol of remembrance for centuries owing to its memory enhancing properties. Australians have worn sprigs of rosemary on Anzac Day and Remembrance Day as a commemorative gesture for the 106 000 Australians who died in active service and other military operations over the past century.
Remembrance Day is held on 11 November each year to mark the anniversary of the Armistice that brought an end to the First World War. A one minute silence is observed at 11 am in memory of those who died or suffered in all wars and armed conflict.
